Meet Your Instructor
KADRI NEUFELD
With over 12 years of dance training in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Hip Hop, Kadri is no stranger to the art form. Kadri has successfully completed exams in Jazz (ADAPT), Tap (Al Gilbert), and Ballet (Cecchetti), making her a force to be reckoned with. Kadri’s dance career has taken her on many trips across Canada and the United States, training with choreographers like Travis Wall, Sonya Tayeh, Stacey Tookey, and other So You Think You Can Dance alumni.
There’s no one else better than Kadri at teaching kids the art of Hip-hop and Ballet here at the Steinbach Arts Council.

Winter 2023 Classes
BOSS Hip-Hop: Ages 3 – 5
A class designed to introduce children ages 3-5 years old to hip hop dance. Using floor drills, movement exercises and games to teach kids general groove elements and an understanding of rhythm and music.
Duration: January 16 – April 3 (No class on Feb 20 & Mar 27)
Schedule: Monday | 4:30 PM – 5:15 PM

BOSS Hip-Hop: Ages 6 – 9
Our 6-9 Hip Hop class is designed to develop coordination and musicality, with a focus on group dance numbers and individual freestyling to current hip hop music.
Duration: January 16 – April 3 (No class on Feb 20 & Mar 27)
Schedule: Monday | 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Our highest-level beginner Hip Hop class is designed to develop coordination and musicality, with a focus on group dance numbers and individual freestyling to current hip-hop music.

Little Ballerinas: Ages 3 – 5
CLASS FULL
Little Ballerinas is a beginner ballet class, where students learn basic steps, positions, and terms. The program introduces them to the fundamentals of classical ballet while encouraging imagination, creativity & expression.

BOSS Ballet: Ages 6-9
Our 6-9 Ballet class develops the passion and talent of young dancers in an individualized and encouraging, yet disciplined and high-expectation atmosphere. This class continues to explore the fundamentals of Ballet, with more introduction to technique and music.

Class Policies
SAC Membership
A SAC Membership must be purchased for all classes which consist of multiple sessions (1+ hours per session). For workshops under 8 hours long or 1-day duration only, a member and non-member price will be indicated. Memberships have a 1-year validity and are non-refundable.
- Resident Membership: $15 for Individuals; $30 for Families
- Non-resident Membership: $20 for Individuals; $35 for Families

Refund Policy
• In order for your spot to be reserved, all dues must be collected at the time of registration.
• Credit Cards are accepted through our online registration as well as over the phone. Credit, Debit, Cash and Cheques payable to SAC are accepted in person. NSF charge of $20 for all returned cheques.
• Full refunds are given when you withdraw two weeks prior to the start date of a class/workshop/day camp. From that point until the start of classes, a 50% credit will be applied to your account upon withdrawal. There will be no refund after the start date of your class.
• SAC Memberships, admin fees, and material fees are non-refundable.
• Refunds will be sent via cheque in the mail. Refunds can take up to two weeks to process and will require a valid mailing address.
• Classes with insufficient numbers will be cancelled and all fees will be refunded.
• Personal information will not be shared, traded, or sold to any third parties. SAC reserves the right to use this information for our own statistical, mailing, and membership purposes.
