How long are the field trips?
Our field trips are typically half a day long (about 2 hours).
Where will the field trip take place?
The field trips will take place at the Steinbach Arts Council at 304 Second Street, Steinbach. Your class will have access to our professional studios and Hall Gallery.
What’s included in the field trip?
Our field trip includes a tour of our hall gallery with a tour guide, the decided upon skilled clinicians/workshops, and the supplies needed for the workshops.
I teach a younger (or older) grade than grade 3/4, would I still be able to have a field trip at SAC?
Although we are only currently offering field trips for Grades 3 & 4, please contact us at admin@steinbacharts.ca with inquiries about the field trip you would wish for us to plan and we can discuss it in more detail.
How did you decide on what curricular connections you will offer this year?
We worked with Gr.3 and 4 teachers from the community of Hanover to decide what to offer. We are very grateful for their input as it helps us build field trips that best serve our community!
What are your COVID-19 Protocols for this program?
As an organization, it is in our best interest to keep your children safe and healthy when providing them a space to learn. This being said, we continue to operate under the latest Public Health Orders. As of March 15th 2022, we do not enforce the use of mask but we kindly encourage everyone to do so in consideration of others who would like to continue practicing it. These policies/recommendations are subject to change.
