How will the at-home wine tasting run this year?
This year we will again be running the Corks & Canvas event in 15 host homes. Hosts invite their friends and family to their home, with up to 12 guests. SAC will provide you with a wine program to guide you and your guests through the wine tasting process, while you enjoy appetizers from Country Meat Deli and local artwork in the comfort of your home.
How will I receive my hosting package? And what’s included in it?
SAC will deliver the host package to your home the day of the event. We ask that hosts are available to receive the package. The package will include 8-10 bottles of wine, an array of appetizers from Country Meat Deli, wine programs, donation envelopes, and one piece of local artwork.
How can my guests and I donate?
SAC will provide you and your guests with donation envelopes in the host package. There will be no raffles or auctions to generate extra income, as there have been at past events, so we will provide your guests with the opportunity to donate to SAC for a tax receipt. We hope they will enjoy the event and recognize the value the Steinbach Arts Council brings to their quality of life in our community.
Guests can fill out the donation slip in the envelope and submit cash, cheque, or credit card information. You can also donate over the phone at 204.346.1077 or through our quick and secure donation portal.

How do I purchase an artwork?
SAC will provide you with one piece of local artwork part of our Buy or Lease program to display in your home during the event. An art tag will be included that contains the size, price, medium, and artist. If you or one of your guests are interested in purchasing or leasing the artwork, you can contact Sydney at the SAC office (204.346.1077 or email@example.com).
