SUMMER ARTS DAY CAMPS 2022
Join one or join them all!
Is each week of camp the same?
While each week will contain the same elements, the activities will be different each week. Different science experiments, different games, and different crafts means a camper who comes to all seven weeks of camp will have a different experience every day! Of course, some camper favourites will be included each week – like the splash pad and swimming!
What happens in the case of inclement weather?
Weather can be unpredictable, but we have preparations for inclement weather. We will have tents set up in case of rain during day camps. If the weather becomes dangerous, we will not keep the children outside. In case of very hot weather or a thunderstorm, we have a big enough facility that we will be able to space out the children and be able to keep them safe inside the building. When inside the building, the children will be required to wear their masks.
When will I receive the camp schedule for the week once registered?
A welcome letter with a camp schedule and all the information you need for your week of camp will be emailed the week before your registered week of camp.
What are the COVID19 Protocols you have in place for this event?
The Steinbach Arts Council always follows the latest Manitoban public health protocols. As of March 1st, vaccinations are not required to sign up for Summer Arts Day Camp. Mask use is not mandatory. As we take our current situation very seriously, we will be offering hand sanitizer and masks for those who wish to use them. We also ask that if your camper is feeling unwell, they stay home.
